This Refund Policy explains how subscription and service payments are handled on the
MeraPayment platform. MeraPayment is a subscription and service-based application used by construction
contractors to manage labour attendance, generate invoices, track payments, and access legal escalation
services.
1. Nature of Services
All payments made on MeraPayment relate to:
- Platform subscription plans and usage-based service fees.
- Attendance, reporting, invoicing, and payment tracking services.
- Optional legal escalation and payment recovery support services.
By subscribing or making a payment, you acknowledge that you are paying for access to digital
tools, workflows, and service time rather than a physical product.
2. Subscription & Usage-Based Plans
MeraPayment may offer monthly, annual, or usage-based plans (for example, per-labour or
per-project billing). For these plans:
- Fees paid for the current active billing cycle are final and non-reimbursable.
- In cases of platform-wide technical issues that prevent normal usage for an extended
period, MeraPayment may, at its discretion, offer credits or extensions.
- If your account is suspended or terminated for violation of Terms of Service, no compensation
will be issued for remaining time or unused services.
3. Legal Escalation Services
Legal escalation and payment recovery services involve third-party professionals, time-bound
actions, and formal legal steps. For this reason:
- Once a legal escalation request is accepted and processed, the service fee becomes final.
- No adjustments will be provided once any of the following actions have begun:
- Drafting or issuing legal notices.
- Communication with the main contractor on your behalf.
- Preparation or filing of court documents or legal claims.
Important
Legal escalation fees compensate for expert time, document preparation, and legal processes.
Even if the dispute is later resolved or withdrawn, these service charges remain final.
Legal escalation charges are final
4. Chargebacks & Unauthorised Transactions
If you believe a transaction on your account is unauthorised:
- Immediately notify MeraPayment support and your bank or payment provider.
- We may temporarily restrict account access while the matter is investigated.
- Submitting a bank chargeback without first contacting MeraPayment may delay resolution. We
reserve the right to contest chargebacks that do not align with this policy or our Terms of
Service.
5. Policy Updates
MeraPayment may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal
requirements, pricing models, or service offerings. The latest version will always be available
within the Legal or Settings section of the platform. Continued use of the platform after any
update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
